Some of you may not be aware that effective December 22, 2013 Ohio's minimum liability requirement on auto insurance policies is increasing from $12,500 per person, $25,000 per accident (bodily injury) with $7,500 per accident ( property damage) is increasing to $25,000 per person, $50,000 per accident (bodily injury) with $25,000 (property damage).  Ohio's minimum liability requirements have not been changed since 1969.  The new limits are part of HB278.

If your auto insurance policy does not have the minimum liability limits your policy limits will be automatically increased on your renewal date after  December 22, 2013.
